Washing Bed Pillows Using "Towels" Wash Cycle-Date: 12/4/2020

I washed a couple of bed pillows using the "Towels" wash cycle. I used the Pre-wash cycle, normal soil, high speed spin and 1 extra rinse.

When you wash pillows like these, you need to have at least 2 pillows to keep the load balanced during the spin cycle. You shouldn't do more than 2 pillows at a time because they need enough room to roll around during the wash. These are only pillows with stuffing in them. You can do feather pillows. But I recommend using either the "Bedding" wash cycle or the "Delicates" wash cycle and using the shortest run which would be setting the soil to lowest setting. Also you should only use the low speed spin so the feather pillow doesn't fly apart. Use the shortest wash you can use.

I used the "Towels" wash cycle because it adds more water than the normal and heavy duty cycles do because pillows absorb a lot of water.
