Bryan Kohberger Sentenced • Stabbing Deaths of 4 College Students in Idaho • SENTENCES

In the early morning of November 13, 2022, four University of Idaho students were fatally stabbed in an off-campus residence at 1122 King Road in Moscow, Idaho. On December 30, suspect Bryan Christopher Kohberger was arrested in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, on four counts of first-degree murder and one count of felony burglary. Prosecutors initially sought the death penalty. The four victims were stabbed to death on the second and third floors of the residence, where they were in bed. The victims were not gagged or restrained and the walls were spattered with blood. Mogen and Goncalves were found in Mogen's room, and Kernodle and Chapin were found in Kernodle's room. Kernodle had more than 50 stab wounds, and Goncalves had more than 20 stab wounds.
