Isaiah 21 Babel Is Fallen – Isaiah’s Vision, Media’s Role, and the Countdown of Yahuah

Isaiah 21 isn't just a vision—it's a distress call from the past and a warning for today.
As whirlwinds rise from the South, Yahuah sends Elam and Media to bring down Babel—an empire of carved images and corruption. The prophet is so overwhelmed, he staggers like a woman in labor (Isaiah 21:3). And then he hears the cry that still echoes through time:
“Babel is fallen, is fallen!” (Isaiah 21:9)
This cry reappears in Jeremiah 51:8 and Revelation 14:8 & 18:2, showing that Babel is more than a fallen city—it’s a spiritual system that intoxicates nations. And Yahuah will destroy it, again and again, until the final collapse.
The fall is measured precisely:
“Within a year, according to the year of a hired man...” – Isaiah 21:16
Not symbolic. Not flexible. This is exact judgment—just like the days a hired worker counts until his contract is done (Isaiah 16:14, Job 14:6).
Even more striking: Media—a literal nation that conquered Babylon (Daniel 5:28)—was used by Yahuah. Could there be a modern shadow in today’s media? Will it be used to tear down lies—or spread more of Babel’s wine?
“My word... shall not return to Me empty.” – Isaiah 55:11
This is a cry to Yisharal, to the watchmen on the walls. The storm is coming, the shield is to be anointed. Are you watching?
