Nehemiah Lesson-10: Moving Forward with God (Part II)

We are in Lesson-10 in the series “Rebuilding the Covenant Community” from the book of Nehemiah.
 
This is Volume II of our series: “After the Exile” a study of Ezra-Nehemiah-Esther.
 
The lesson is titled “Moving Forward with God – Part II” and our focus passage is Nehemiah 9:38-10:39.

In our previous episode, we began our teaching of Nehemiah 9-10, a study we are calling “Moving Forward with God”.
 
In that chapter, we saw the Covenant Community come together to confess their sins, to worship God, to praise His goodness and steadfast love, and to acknowledge His faithfulness to Israel.

In today’s lesson we will conclude our study of Nehemiah 9-10. In today’s lesson we will look at two key aspects of our relationship with God: confession and commitment.
 
The Jewish Exiles are about to enter into a covenant with Yahweh. It is basically a renewal of the covenant.
