Many people fail to know history and what money actually is. J.P. Morgan stated before Congress back in the early 1900s, "Gold is money. Everything else is credit." The US dollar is legal tender, a fiat currency, private commercial paper, a federal reserve note, and a money substitute. People call it money, but it isn't money. The public has been fooled and woefully dumbed down.

Limiting the total number of bitcoins serves two purposes: first the obvious one, prevent money printing, secondly it overcomes the problem of agreeing on a price for the compute power traded (POW), in a decentralized way. For example, earlier versions of digital gold had market makers. Such market makers would be a possible point of attack, for sure, some type of central org. Fixing the total amount of BTC allowed for setting the price for the compute power (POW) a priori in the code. Combined with the adaption of the difficulty the limited number of coins solves the problem earlier versions of digital gold suffered. Thank you for your great channel and educational work.

I have been saying for years it was created by the NSA. 1. It is in their wheelhouse. They created SHA 256 encryption Afterall. 2. There is NO WAY Sathoshi is not a well published software architect. If he was one person, any LLM can tell you who he is from all his emails that people have, or from just analyzing his white paper. Why hasn't this been done? Because he is 5 people or so, and I am guessing from the NSA. This was a skunkworks project that got out of the lab, so to speak. It solves the deficit and keeps the dollar in control assuming the US owns the most BTC
