Border tensions between Cambodia and Thailand have escalated into deadly clashes.

For the second consecutive day, both sides exchanged rockets and artillery fire, leaving at least 16 people dead. Thailand's acting Prime Minister has warned that the violence could spiral into full-scale war if not contained. As Al Jazeera's Tony Cheng reports from Surin, near the contested border, there are few signs of de-escalation.
