A Poor Man's Cry Lyric Video

Hey Fam, Friends, and Fans.

This is Lloyd Bickford, aka Proverb Lexis. Welcome to this lyric video.

I have always been an observational person, watching the world around me. After I graduated High School, some friends brought me down to Wyoming, and left me at a college in Powell, WY. After some time and much deliberation, I prayed and handed everything to God.
I left, and walked towards the setting sun... and God provided me every step of the way, proving Himself to me, even when I didn't fully understand what I had prayed and asked for...

Along my journey in life, I began really seeing the reality of the world around all of us, and how much people really struggle on a daily basis. As time went on, I only saw more and more everywhere I looked... Life can truly be brutal, and it has taught me who truly cares, and where complacency brings a given society.

Complacency kills, not just ourselves, but the people around us... We should be looking after each other.

I already understand that I won't be able to reach everyone, but that's my goal. My goal is to resonate with those who can see all the things I see.

You're not alone, Fam.

The first waves of music that you'll find from me are going to be AI generated using AI tools to bring my poems into song form. My long-distance goals will be to someday work with independent artists directly to hear their renditions of my lyrics.

Additionally, if you're an artist who finds they like my lyrics and would be interested in creating your own rendition of any of my songs, please feel free to email me:

I know that I won't always be able to read or respond to messages from everyone because... well... life happens. I'll do my absolute best to reach back out to those who reach out to me.

Regards,
Proverb Lexis
