Text: Hebrews 11

Objective: that we may focus on victory that the Lord give those that trust in Him

Intro:
-Good report - search biblical definition -- phil. 4.8

How to win (have victory) and how does that look like
1. Have understanding on the important things - v. 3 - 'we understand'
2. Have acceptance of God - v.4 - 'obtained witness that he was righteous'
3. Have advanced blessings v.5
4. Have much needed warnings - v.6 - 'warned of God'
5. Have inheritance of God - v.7
6. Have strength to receive the promise - v.11
7. Have passed trials - v. 17
8. Have blessings on others correctly giving it out - vv. 20-21
9. Have the Lord's protection - vv. 24, 29
10. Have chosen correctly who to associate with - vv. 24-25
11. Have even strong enemies subdued - vv. 30, 33
12. Have been saved - v. 31 - soul, body, spirit
13. Have kept the faith - even if promises not received immediately

the fulfillment is sure! - vv. 13-16; 32-40

Message/conclusion:

The Victory has already won by the Lord for this world and world to come.
We are saved and that is sure and we do nothing to add to it.
The Victory, winning that we should focus on getting is being faithful knowing, going/doing and staying in God's will on earth. This way we also advance His plans, and reap promised rewards.
