Matt Kim says the line between journalism and activism isn’t a flaw, it’s the point.

“Real journalism is actually activism,” Kim explains. “There is a scarcity of real journalists in the world… fighting for truth is not easy. You have to be passionate about it.”

He continues: “You have to be an activist to do the right thing, to not fall in line with how non-journalists typically operate.”

This isn’t about chasing clicks. It’s about standing firm in truth, even when no one else will.
