CG Just Released a MASSIVE Game Update! This is LONG Overdue, but I Guess Better Late Than Never!

CG just released a majorly massive game update. This update now allows players to relic FOUR STAR characters, no longer has ability upgrade gates (except for Zetas and Omicrons), makes gearing up characters exponentially easier -- and all this applies to ships as well!

In addition, MANY characters have had their unlock star levels dropped to 2 Star, making acquiring new characters much easier.

The biggest downsides I see for now are the following:

1, massive GP inflation. I try to remain focused on what characters I farm for and work on but with this new update, all new characters are eligible for immediate "beefing up".

2, with many characters being dropped to 2 star unlocks, this may destroy shard shop currency. What I mean is a character (like Boba) who used to be a 4 star unlock would translate to 80 shards. Now at a 2 star unlock, you're looking at only 40 shards -- half as valuable now!

The last semi-point I have here is this is A LOT more beneficial to new players. I wish they would do something big like this for us more veteran players, even if it was just a special reward that long term players earned or special events or game modes that unlock at certain GP levels or something.
