Marine rounded off their PSF schedule at a very dry Imagine Cruising Stadium Complex pitch on Wednesday evening [23.07.25] against former Hellenic League D2 Central opponents, Wantage Town U23s.

A fairly even first half saw Marine start the slightly brighter after the interval, however a 53rd minute tackle led to a Freds player to spin through the air and land firmy on his face, causing him to be knocked out and after a lengthy pause in play, the referee called time so as the player could head off to A&E.

Luckily the player was released from the GWH at 1.30am with a CT scan showing no other injuries and was discharged following his concussion.

We of course wish him a speedy and safe recovery.
