At least coffee #72, or Afraid, afraid
At least coffee 72, or Afraid, afraid
I can't even remember when, where, or from whom I first heard this saying. But even as children, we used it quite often. Now it fits perfectly with politicians and supporters of the current government rabble. They are afraid, afraid, very afraid. So they are waging a completely hateful and slanderous campaign against the opposition parties. They conceal their mistakes, and if any come to light, they immediately shift the blame to previous governments in which Babiš was involved. They are even capable of twisting everything Babiš has ever said or not said.
Take the famous Green Deal, for example. Yes, Babiš agreed that it is necessary to reduce the production of pollutants, but at the same time he negotiated that each country in the EU would have its own specific approach so that it would not jeopardize the economy of that country. And it was there that he even negotiated that nuclear energy would be counted among clean energy sources. Otherwise, Ursula von der Leyen and Frans Timmermans would have been able to ban the operation of nuclear power plants. What the current government has done with the originally agreed framework has nothing to do with the original idea.
Babiš's debts are another point of the anti-campaign. Yes, a large debt has been created. And if it weren't for the fact that Babiš's government managed to run a slight surplus until Covid, it could have been worse. But it was the governments in which Babiš was involved that managed to balance the original deficit left by Kalousek and Nečas. Except for a small surplus of about 60 billion. The fact that, in connection with the restrictions caused by the COVID epidemic, which no one in the world knew what to do about, the government had to resort to supporting the economy and citizens was unexpected and unplanned. And the opposition at the time, today's government rabble, stood at the podium and frantically shouted that it was not enough and that more and more needed to be spent. Today, of course, they do not admit to this.
The current Minister of the Interior, Vít Rakušan, boasts about how he is fighting for an amendment to the migration agreement. And he reproaches the opposition for not wanting to join this fight. He claims to be putting out the fire. But he doesn't want to admit who started it. It was he who signed the migration pact. Under Babiš's government, all attempts to impose migrants and other Islamist violent criminals were successfully blocked. It took Fiala's gang, whose minister signed something he had been lying about all along and didn't even know what he had signed.
There are many more examples, such as inflation, which was rising across Europe, but Fiala's government was unable to stop it, so that the cumulative total for two years of government reached more than 30 percent. And they are making a big deal out of the fact that inflation is now rising by just under three percent.
They destroyed the economy with expensive energy. But that is being overlooked.
The finance minister and the prime minister are constantly convincing us how they are reducing the national debt. It may not seem like it, but they are hiding another financial burden from us. Despite increased tax collection, which is understandably due to inflation-driven price increases, the government still lacks money for anything. And so they are indebting the state with hidden costs. During this government's term, ministers have taken out loans totaling 134 billion, as shown in the table below. And, of course, someone will have to pay for them.
Currently, wherever possible, there are hateful cries and scare tactics about what Babiš will do if he comes to power. Well, if he did the same thing he did when he was already in government and turned the state budget deficit into a small surplus, probably no one would be angry.
This whole hate campaign has only one goal. And that is to discourage people, to discourage them from voting, so that only their die-hard supporters turn up, and they can continue to rule and steal undisturbed. And like vultures, they are waiting for the opportunity to destroy our country's economy undisturbed and throw it into the clutches of the Brussels oligarchy.
That is why I am asking you, reasonable people, please. Don't tell yourselves that you have no influence. You do. And the more of us who go to the polls and vote for opposition parties that have a real chance of getting into parliament, the greater the chance for a change for the better. Let's go vote. And above all, don't vote for the idiots from the current government rabble.
If the current gang wins, then all that will be left is "afraid afraid"!
