Breakthrough to Belaia Hora - analysis by Rybar

In the month of July, the Russian military succeeded in breaching the defensive fortifications of the Ukrainian Armed Forces along both flanks of the Konstantinovka sector, thereby securing a portion of Belaia Hora and Poltavka.

In addition, the Russian Armed Forces initiated offensive operations in the central sector, and by the second half of the month, had advanced into the territory of Shcherbinovka, where combat had persisted for over eight months.

🔻To what extent have Russian troops advanced?

In the western theater, the combat operations were concentrated along the Yablonovka-Aleksandro-Kalinovo front. By June 29, the Russian Armed Forces had successfully expelled the enemy from the central region of Yablonovka and had cleared a substantial area to the south of the village.

Over the course of the following fortnight, the troops succeeded in establishing a presence in several key strongholds to the north of the village, thereby ensuring the security of the flanks against the potential for enemy counterattacks. Furthermore, the advance assault groups breached the southern outskirts of Poltavka, compelling the enemy to retreat towards the center of the village.

In the preceding week, a pocket east of Romanovka was eliminated and control over Petrovka was established. Consequently, the primary attack shifted toward Shcherbinovka.

Concurrently, an offensive was initiated on Shcherbinovka from multiple directions. By July 23, separate assault groups had advanced to the central part of the village and engaged in combat.

On the eastern front, following the liberation of Dyleivka, Russian military units initiated offensive operations against Belaia Gora. On July 23, the 1st Battalion of the 77th Motorized Infantry Regiment successfully secured the western part of the village.

The soldiers of the aforementioned force raised the national flag on one of the streets, but it is premature to speak of complete clearance of the village.

The situation at the junction of the Konstantinovka and Kramatorsk directions was also clarified, where the front line had remained relatively static for an extended period.

According to the most recent intelligence reports from the field, Russian military forces recently repelled Ukrainian formations near the Andreevka area. The opposing force established a foothold on the left bank of the Severny Donets-Donbass Canal and subsequently retreated to defensive positions to the west.

📌The situation in the area of the Armed Forces of Ukraine south of Kleban-Byk Reservoir is showing signs of deterioration. The safety of supply lines passing through Yablonovka has long been a concern, as they have been deemed unsafe for transport. This has forced the Ukrainian Armed Forces to rely on alternative routes near Ivanopol.
