🇵🇱 A Beautiful Journey to Poland – Travel Story

Last month, I got the opportunity to visit one of Europe’s most underrated gems – Poland. Honestly, I didn’t expect to fall in love with this country the way I did.

My journey started in Warsaw, the capital city. At first glance, it felt like a mix of modern architecture and deep history. The Old Town, completely rebuilt after World War II, felt like walking through a painting. The streets were clean, people polite, and the food—oh, the food! I tasted pierogi (Polish dumplings) for the first time, and I couldn’t stop eating.

From Warsaw, I took a train to Kraków, the former royal capital. This city felt like a fairytale. The Wawel Castle, Rynek Glowny (Main Market Square), and the friendly street musicians made it magical. One emotional day was visiting Auschwitz, the former Nazi concentration camp. It was a heavy but necessary experience—reminding me of how important peace and humanity are.

Next, I explored the Tatra Mountains near Zakopane. Snow-covered peaks, wooden cottages, and hot chocolate by the fireplace—it felt like a dream. I even tried a bit of hiking, and the views were absolutely breathtaking.

What impressed me the most was the warmth of Polish people. Despite the language barrier, they were always ready to help with a smile. And everything was quite affordable compared to other European countries.

My Poland trip was a beautiful mix of history, culture, nature, and kindness. I didn’t expect it to touch my heart so deeply, but now, I always tell everyone:
“If you want to visit a beautiful and soulful place in Europe, go to Poland.”
