India’s PM Modi in UK, Landmark Trade Agreement Set To Be Signed | N18G

India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in the United Kindom for a two-day visit. He landed in London on Wednesday. He has been invited by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and this marks PM Modi’s fourth visit to the country. Upon his arrival, he received a rousing welcome from the Indian diaspora, which he described as “truly heartening.” PM Modi will hold talks with Starmer on bilateral relations between India and the United Kingdom, as well as discuss issues of global importance. He is also expected to call on King Charles III. Both countries are expected to sign a free trade agreement during the visit. This trip is part of PM Modi’s current two-nation tour. He will be visiting the Maldives on July 25, after wrapping up his trip to the UK.
