Note: Finally, I found a much better Higher Quality recording from Don Gorelick aka "Oakley Tapes" than both videos together from James E. Woods aka "hollywoodjim", "tvrepeater" and "santamonicajim" and Taylor aka "VHSGoodiesWA". Also, perfect timing because as of July, 2025 Michael Douglas has officially announce his retirement of acting.

Roger Ebert and Guest Critic, Michaela Pereira reviews "Wonder Boys" (Great underrated film! Very first review from its original February release and a shame it didn't do well at the Box Office! The second review during its November re-release is on 11/12/00 episode of "Ebert & Roeper and the Movies!": https://www.bitchute.com/video/cXibs82xp7aw ); "Boiler Room" (Powerful "Wall Street" drama with Giovanni Ribisi, Nia Long, Vin Diesel, Ben Affleck and Hume Cronyn.); "The Whole Nine Yards" (Surprisingly excellent mobster living next door comedy with a great cast. Starring: Bruce Willis, the late, great Matthew Perry from "Friends", Amanda Peet, Kevin Pollak, Michael Clarke Duncan, Harland Williams, Rosanna Arquette and Natasha Henstridge.); "Hanging Up" (Very drastically phone ringing sitcom material and lame comedy/drama with Meg Ryan, Lisa Kudrow also from "Friends" (What a week!), Diane Keaton (who also directed this) and Walter Matthau in his last film just about a few months before his passing and "Pitch Black" (I think "Diamonds" was supposed to be on this episode but got postponed. Nevertheless, this was an amazing Sci-Fi Action Adventure from Writer/Director, David Twothy. Also stars Vin Diesel as "Riddick" and Radha Mitchell. Both Michaela and Roger missed the boat.)

Video Pick of the Week: Ebert picks "Eyes Wide Shut" (Exotic Drama with Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman. And it's written/directed by Stanley Kubrick in his final film after his passing in early 1999.) This had a controversy with the MPAA rating board classification of its release at the time. And a recap of Today's program.

Recorded on KATU ABC 2 in Portland, Oregon with Commercials intact.
