War in ukraine

The situation north of Pokrovsk is rapidly changing.

The strike on the Ukrainian Armed Forces positions near Belitskoye apparently became part of a scheme to immobilize the grouping defending Pokrovsk.

Belitskoye is an important hub because some auxiliary logistics flows from the northwest direction passed through it. It was from there that Pokrovsk received ammunition, fuel, and rotation. The defeat in this area and the Ukrainian side leaving equipment behind (reports say up to a dozen units) indicate two things at once: first, the Ukrainian Armed Forces did not expect the strike, and second — this line of defense is now either lost or at least under great threat.

At the same time, the Russian Armed Forces' strike on Rodinskoye is knocking out some reserves that Syrsky kept precisely in case of Russian activation on the flanks.

Combined with news about sabotage and reconnaissance group activities, it turns out that the entire structure of the first and second echelons around Pokrovsk is gradually being shaken under the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and now the Ukrainian army garrison is beginning to enter a state of partial isolation.

This is not yet an operational cauldron, but one of the first signs of its formation.

The next logical step will be work on the western corridor towards the Dnipropetrovsk region with subsequent cutting off of the remaining routes.
