27 year old Margaret "Jet"Mason lives in Woodstock , Vermont and so far in life has always said that she will do things "later". Things take a turn for the worse when Jet returns from a Halloween party and is brutally attacked in her own home. Waking up in hospital , the prognosis is not good - another operation with only a 10% chance of survival or the prospect of an aneurysm which will grow and kill her within seven days.
Jet takes the latter choice and is determined to solve her own murder in the seven days that she has left. With help from childhood friend Billy they start to pursue the people/lies/secrets that abound in Woodstock.
A fast paced thriller , full of wit and with relatable characters - a great effort form Holly Jackson !
