Busting FBI Ballistics Part 2: Barrel Length

In part two of our three part series we'll be talking about how barrel length plays into the performance of the five most popular defensive handgun rounds on the market. The .380 ACP, 9mm, .40 S&W, .357 SIG, and .45 ACP.

While the general rule of thumb is that 50 fps is gained or lost for every inch of barrel length, we find that is not always the case and this will factor into how well a given loading does in the FBI ballistics tests.
