Evidence Links Obama to False Intelligence Assessment

Tulsi Gabbard, current Director of National Intelligence of the United States, has declassified a series of documents that reveal a “treasonous conspiracy” allegedly led by former President Barack Obama and his national security team. This conspiracy reportedly involved the deliberate fabrication of an intelligence assessment in January 2017, aimed at supporting the narrative that Russia had interfered in the 2016 election to benefit Donald Trump. Gabbard maintains that those responsible knew from the beginning that the assessment was false.

According to the declassified documents, Obama’s team allegedly used unreliable sources, such as the Steele dossier, and suppressed credible evidence that contradicted their claims. They also reportedly ignored traditional intelligence community practices and collaborated with media allies to spread the narrative as if it were true. According to Gabbard, the goal was to subvert the will of the American people and undermine the legitimacy of President Trump by promoting what she describes as a prolonged coup attempt against his administration.

When asked whether this new information implicates former President Obama in criminal behavior, Gabbard responded that they have submitted—and will continue to submit—all documents to the Department of Justice and the FBI for investigation into the potential criminal implications. When directly questioned whether this includes Obama himself, she answered affirmatively, stating that the published evidence points directly to President Obama as having led the fabrication of the intelligence assessment. She asserted that there are multiple pieces of evidence and intelligence confirming this.

President Donald Trump has publicly backed Gabbard, calling her “the standout in the room” and describing the events as “the crime of the century.” He has demanded legal consequences and shared symbolic imagery depicting former President Obama under arrest, sparking strong reactions from both mainstream media and social networks.

Gabbard has submitted her findings to the Department of Justice, requesting a criminal investigation into Obama, John Brennan, James Comey, James Clapper, and other high-ranking officials, arguing that they may have committed serious crimes not subject to any statute of limitations. She claims dozens of documents have been submitted as criminal referrals and that this is just the beginning of a series of revelations.

However, several Democratic lawmakers, such as Senator Mark Warner and Representative Jim Himes, have questioned Gabbard’s claims, warning that there is neither sufficient evidence nor legal grounds to prosecute the former president. They also point out that bipartisan congressional reports and the Mueller report concluded that Russia did interfere in the 2016 election, although it did not manipulate the outcome. Critics argue that Gabbard may be misrepresenting documents by confusing interference with direct electoral manipulation, and that her statements fuel conspiracy theories lacking solid foundation.

Barack Obama’s office has firmly rejected the accusations, calling them a political distraction.
