Welcome to a special edition of Super Cool Radio! Our guest is The Chop Tops! The Chop Tops is a legendary band with two decades of incredible music and stage shows. They have opened for some legendary musicians, including Chuck Berry, Dick Dale, and Link Wray, among others. A decade after their last performance, The Chop Tops released a new album, entitled Fabrikate, and reunited for eight US shows. One of these shows saw The Chop Tops bring their Revved-Up Rockabilly to Motoblot in Chicago. Matthew had the opportunity to chat with Sinner, Shelby, and Brett at Motoblot. In this interview, The Chop Tops discuss writing and recording Fabrikate, their cover of Police Truck, and share some of their favorite memories from the band, among other topics.
