Ticking Seconds, Missing Smiles

"The Clock That Never Ticked Again"

In a bustling town, there lived a young man named Arjun. He was always in a hurry — rushing to work, chasing dreams, planning for the future. His house had a beautiful antique wall clock, gifted by his grandfather, who had once said:

> "Whenever you feel lost, just listen to this clock. It reminds you that time is moving — and so should your happiness."

But Arjun never paid attention to the clock. He was too busy making money, meeting deadlines, and stressing about what was next. He never had time for friends, family, or even himself.

One day, the clock suddenly stopped ticking.

Strangely, that same day, Arjun’s life took a pause. He met with a minor accident and had to stay home for weeks. With nothing to do, he sat quietly in the room and stared at the old clock. For the first time, he noticed the silence… no ticking.

He realized how much time he had ignored — time he could have spent laughing with his sister, hugging his mother, walking in the rain, or smiling at a stranger.

Tears rolled down his face. He walked to the clock, fixed its hands, and started it again. And with that tick... he promised himself something:

> “From today, I will live. I will smile. Because this moment will never come back.”

He started enjoying the small things — morning tea with parents, evening walks, old songs, and random laughter. People began to say, "Arjun looks different — happier."

And he was.

Moral:

Don’t wait for life to slow you down. Slow down yourself, smile more, and live while time is still ticking.
