Easy Peel Hard-Boiled Eggs:
I bring my hot water and eggs to a hard boil for 10 minutes then turn off heat and cover for 10 minutes. After they have been sitting in the water, covered for 10 minutes, I gently remove the eggs with a spider ladel and place in icy cold water for 10 minutes before tapping on side once then rolling the egg until entire shell is cracked and easily peels right off.
Creamy Pasta Alfredo:
I bring the water from the eggs back to a boil while the eggs are sitting in the ice water bath and add 1 TBS salt, stirring until salt is fully dissolved and then break your long pasta into at least halves and boil for 5 minutes before removing 3/4 of the boiling pasta water into a second bowl or measuring cup. Then add the jarred Alfredo sauce to the pot with the pasta and stir well until fully mixed and turn to a high simmer stirring often. Add pasta water removed from pot to the alfredo sauce jar and stor with spoon until all the sauce is off sides of jar and return to the pot with the pasta and sauce. Add any fully cooked and cubed meat (if using) to pot with the pasta and sauce and heat just until warmed through, adding back any of the removed pasta water until sauce is desired thickness and creaminess.
