"Clashes between Syrian tribes and Druze continue in the Sweida region of southern Syria, despite the ceasefire mediated by the United States and negotiated between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Syria's interim president, Ahmed al-Sharaa. The U.S. envoy to Syria, Tom Barrack, announced the agreement and urged Druze, Bedouin, and Sunni communities to lay down their arms to build a 'united and peaceful identity.' Despite this, violence escalated with the arrival of Sunni groups to support the Bedouin tribes against the Druze."
