Hello everyone and welcome to the studio! In this short video, I demonstrate how to paint a simple yet beautiful nebula using three colors and only two brushes. This is a very simple painting to do and is a huge confidence booster. The colors that I used are transparent, and you may use any colors of your choosing, including opaque colors. Note: if you use opaque colors, you would need to limit the application of the paint to the area that you want to have the nebula. You may also use any brushes that you choose. I chose the brushes that I did because I have had the most success with them on this type of painting.

Materials used:
12x16 in canvas paper
Black gesso
Liquid clear
1 inch landscape brush (for applying the liquid clear)
Fan Brush
Mop Brush
