Abound in Love & Mercy!

Cathy begins her sermon series on Living in Heavenly Joy from Philippians chapter 1, verses 1-11 where Paul thanks God on every remembrance of you and makes prayers for you making requests in joy. We see that God will give you a divine partnership with those that He places in your heart, which will empower you to make requests for them with joy. Those prayers have the supernatural strength to be confident that the good work that He began in you he will perform it in the day of Jesus. That prayer is for your love to abound more and more in the knowledge and in all judgment. We were created by the Word of God and we are sustained by that same word. We are to be merciful to those who don’t yet believe, but also to those who do because we all can use a little mercy sometimes.
