Stephen Colbert Was Fired

Late night host Stephen Colbert announced that he will be leaving the airwaves in the Spring of 2026. Boo Hoo.

I was once a fan of his. I was a regular watcher when he and Jon Stewart spoke truth to power on The Daily Show. They were funny, and they stood up for civility and what was right.

But when he got his show, Colbert became a shill for all things liberal. He spoke as if he were a paid operative of the DNC. He because no longer funny. I haven’t watched him in years and am glad to see him and his progressive politics headed off the air. Good Riddance.
