Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent called out the Federal Reserve, blasting Chair Jerome Powell’s stewardship and demanding an institution-wide review of the central bank’s performance, bloated bureaucracy, and disturbing deviation from its core mission.

In this clip, Scott Bessent points out how worthless the so-called "experts" are at the Federal Reserve (which is no more FEDERAL than FEDERAL EXPRESS if you didn't know). It's yet another institution that is corrupt to the core. The last thing it's concerned with is the best interests of the American people. It exists to protect and serve the interests of bankers. PERIOD. Bessent ends with one of the greatest takes on those who work for the Federal Reserve. It's nothing but a source of universal basic income for stupid academic economists.

Of course, we've seen how Bessent handled the audit of Fort Knox, which was not at all, so I'm not holding my breath on any serious action on the Fed.
