Prototyping an X configuration Octo Quad

Welcome to another video, today we’re prototyping an X configuration Octo Quad. Some experimental “cine-lifter” idea I had.
Here I just want to see if I can actually stack these together as easily as I had in my mind.
No components are being installed just figuring out the best way to put the frames together in the future.
It’s hard to tell but I came out with 2 configurations to stack the frame safely and reliably. How it will actually behave is still an unknown.
Phase 1 one will be with just 4 motors and an empty compartment for whatever up top. GPS and an action camera will go up there for now.

Phase 2 will be with all 8 arms...Should be an interesting nightmare to conquer...
