Young Robin in the Bird Bath

A juvenile robin with cute large eyes takes a bird bath in the fountain. This robin has recently fledged the nest and the mother often feeds it mealworms (that I give her!)

Young robins can be identified by their large eyes and more dull coloured feathers compared to adult robins. They are also more fluffy. Good luck trying to tell a mature male or female robin apart though!
