Two people shot in 'gun battle' near Over-The-Rhine playground, police say

A woman was shot in the head and a man also was wounded in a "gun battle" on Vine Street in Over-the-Rhine about 10 p.m. Saturday night, police said. Both victims were found in the street in the 1800 block of Vine near Findlay Playground. Police said paramedics discovered one victim in front of the fire station and they immediately aided that victim. Police also found multiple shell casings in the street for several blocks, creating a large crime scene.
