Stephen Colbert's opening monologue about Epstein files

It is worth noting that Stephen Colbert never mentions Bill Clinton as one of the alleged main clients of Jeffrey Epstein's "services." No one forgets the famous painting found in one of Epstein’s properties showing the former Democratic president Bill Clinton posing dressed as a woman in a blue dress.

It is curious that after four years in office, the Biden administration never mentioned the Epstein files, especially considering the elections, during which it could have “leaked” information potentially linking current President Trump to the case.

Where do Democrats get the idea that President Trump is part of Epstein's client list? If this claim by the Democrats were true, why didn't they use it to damage Trump's image during the elections?

It all seems like a political ploy aimed at discrediting the work the Trump administration is doing for the American people, while also covering up serious cases involving Obama and Hillary Clinton — both of whom have been mentioned as key architects of the Russia hoax against Trump, which ultimately turned out to be unfounded.

The last recorded episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert was on July 17, 2025, during which Colbert announced live that his show — and the entire franchise — would be canceled. The show will officially conclude in May 2026. CBS stated that the decision was “purely and exclusively financial, unrelated to the content or performance of the show.”
