Philippians 2:3-4 New King James Version
3 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. 4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY DEAR ONES!!! Tell me something my friends.

When have you experienced the protective shelter of a compassionate community?

How did that inspire you?

I thought about these questions as well as the words of a very interesting song “Lord prepare me to be a sanctuary”, in which the writer asks that they are a sanctuary for Christ to others, and that really burdened my heart. I want to know sometimes if I'm being the shelter of compassion and mercy to others. If I'm being Christ light in the darkness, through showing compassion and mercy to those who've been through trauma, especially if that trauma has been inflicted on them through so-called Christians, and a so-called church. I think that's why this passage of scripture, even if it's messianic in its message, is still speaking to my heart, and why I want to share some things that God put on my heart with all of you tonight. It deals with something I pray that we all as Christians start doing, and that is being a source of comfort, compassion, empathy, and so much more to people who have been through trauma within the church. Not just trauma within the church, but trauma anywhere.

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things God has been showing me on this issue, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that you listen to what I say on this. I pray that you not only listen to what I say, but you act on it. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends and learn how to be a shelter of compassion to others for Christ! 😊

So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to challenge you to not only think about these questions from this morning’s devotional, But also to challenge you in this way. Who are you being a voice for? What are you doing about those victims of SA, CSA, DV, and yes even r@pe? Are you standing up for them and letting them know that there's somebody that cares about them, or are you a part of the problem and covering up, minimizing, and denying what they've been through? I urge you today I urge you today to deeply think about what I've said in this passage of scripture and ask yourself how you can be a shelter of compassion, mercy, and justice to these individuals, and you need that today. If something like this is going on in your church, and you know about it, don't pretend or deny that it's happening, but speak out! Who knows how you may help someone in this realm, and the justice that you will be able to help them acquire.

UNTIL TUESDAY:

HAVE A VERY MAGNIFICENT EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
