Border Patrol Agent SHOT in NYC by Illegal Migrant | Shocking Details
A U.S. Border Patrol agent was shot in the face and arm during an attempted robbery in New York City’s Fort Washington Park. The agent, who was off-duty, was approached by two suspects on a moped. One of them—21-year-old Miguel Francisco Mora Núñez, an undocumented migrant with a prior deportation order—opened fire.

The officer returned fire, hitting the suspect. The second assailant fled and is still at large. Mora has a long criminal history and was wanted in multiple states.

The incident is now sparking political backlash over immigration enforcement, sanctuary city protections, and the rising risks for off-duty agents in public.
