Let's get back to our discussion on Insulin Resistance (IR). In this video/episode, we will discuss the connections between IR and skin, muscles, bone and the inner ear.

Insulin is a growth signal. As such, it impacts our ability to build muscle. It also impacts our ability to build bone. Most people have heard of neuroplasiticity, but bioplasticity may be more appropriate as it can include, muscle, bone, skin, etc. Insulin Resistance can disrupt the normal cell autophagy that should occur.

Insulin Resistance may also play a role in different disorders of the inner ear. This includes tinnitus, vertigo and Meniere's Disease. One Otolaryngologist believes glucose issues are the most overlooked cause of vertigo.

Sorry for the phone interruption. Don't people know I'm busy doing a podcast!?!
