A midsummer planting of squash, cucumber, & melons for the Fall Garden

These were planted from seed on 07/06/2025. Replanted the Cucumber Seeds today d/t poor germination; everything else is coming along nicely. I am especially excited about the "Lady Godiva" Naked Pumpkin Seeds. We didn't have any of these (or any squash, pumkins, or melons) last year d/t total crop failure.

Oh, and I almost forgot to mention I have a small batch of Sugar Pumpkin seedlings also growing in this tray. Those seeds were dirt cheap from our local Farmer's CO-OP Store in Prairie Grove. It was called "Tri-Star" Seed Company when I bought them several years ago, but apparently they have since gone out of business or changed the name. I think they were located in North Central AR or Southern MO. They used to sell the bulk seed packages for big farming operations back in the day. I remember going to the Farmer's Co-Op with my dad and spending hours looking at all the different Seeds. They were stored in wooden bins, drawers, and 50 pound bags. They would measure out however many ounces or pounds you wanted and put it in a brown paper sack or a plain white seed packet envelope with a see-through plastic window. Mind-blowing experience for me at the time.
