Indiegogo Unique among muck-raking documentaries, Bailout blasts past its predecessors and rips right to the foul root of America’s financial crisis: massive criminal frauds, enabled by the total corruption of government and politics, carried out by Wall Street—which has become an industrial weapon of mass financial crimes that are robbing Main Street straight into extinction.

You're almost part of the Bailout team!

If you're reading this, then you're awesome! Welcome to Bailout! We are happy to have you on our team, almost! It's been an amazing journey getting to this point. From development, through post, filming all over the country, interviewing some of the brightest minds in the country, talking to families who have lost their homes to foreclosure--all in an effort to create a powerful educational tool that is fun to watch and sincere in its message.

To be part of the team simply contribute to the cause and let's get Bailout to the masses!

Short Summary

After losing his job as a big-firm lawyer, Titus withholds his mortgage payment from a major bailout bank for several months. Seeing his friend rack up tens of thousands of dollars, comic John Fox wheedles Titus into taking a Winnebago excursion to the Las Vegas Tropicana where Fox has a stand-up gig. Three unemployed friends join them for a bailout of their own.

Along the way, however, they see first-hand how criminally greedy banks are systematically destroying jobs and lives across America. Inspired by Studs Terkel's "Working", Bailout digs deep into the marrow of the problem by hearing first hand how bad it really is on Main Street. As John Titus puts it, "What inspired us along the way was the resilient spirit of the American people and their earnest desire for accountability for the large-scale fraud committed by Wall Street."

We took our film all the way to Liberty Square (Zucotti Park) and the Occupy Wall Street movement, learning that the message has gone from the home, to the streets, and the message is clear: to quote the Oscar winning film "Network", "I'M MAD AS HELL AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!"

From entry-level workers, to Congressional leaders, to rock stars, Bailout explores the current state of our country, it's financial institutions, the rampant fraud committed by Wall Street, and is a call to action!
