Assen Tour Diary. D-9

9 days to go until the European Junior Cycling Tour Assen and it’s our first day riding in The Netherlands!
I started with a recon of stage 2, but things didn’t go quite as planned - a flat tire in the first kilometer forced an early stop. After fixing it, I got back on track at the 5.2 km race loop to finish my intervals and tempo training.
The best part? I rode back home on the bike - that’s the beauty of cycling in the Netherlands: smooth roads, bike lanes everywhere, and you can literally get anywhere on two wheels.
