Range Day in the Heat: Hydration and Preparation

With a heat index of 105 degrees and an advisory until 8 PM, staying hydrated at the range is key! I usually start with an energy drink, then shift to Gatorade. On hot days, I'll pack a cooler with Gatorade and plain water. Don't forget snacks like trail mix or protein bars, especially if you get hungry or have a medical condition. Even with a clear forecast, a pop up shower can happen. Stay prepared and stay safe!
