In the vast savannas of Kenya's Maasai Mara and South Africa's Kruger National Park, a remarkable behavioral shift has emerged among white-backed vultures that challenges our understanding of predator-prey dynamics.  These formidable scavengers, once quick to retreat at the first sign of danger, have developed an unprecedented boldness when confronted by Africa's most feared predators, including lions, leopards, wild dogs and hyenas.
As for medium and smaller sized predators, especially black backed jackals,  these large vultures simply crush them to the ground.
