AR-0173: Notorious German New Wave hackmeister Ulli Lommel returns to this show with me checking out another of his infamous ultra-cheap 2000s serial killer flicks. Given where we are with the quality of the films I'm reviewing now, it is safe to say this one is one of the best of the whole sorry bunch, although that ain't saying a whole lot here...

In this 2005 effort [which has had quite a bit more effort put into it than the majority of the other Ulli Lommel movies tended to have, here Lommel stars as a biographer of the legendary Zodiac Killer, who strikes up a friendship with a young disturbed man who fancies himself as the new iteration of The Zodiac Killer. Both are holding some serious secrets close to their respective chests...

While technically better than most of Lommel's later films, this one still ain't good enough to be considered a decent film, although the story is surprisingly interesting if you were to give it a shot...

My Grade: D+ [Disappointing]
