Running From the Truth Like Wild Donkeys | Surah Al-Muddathir 47–53

In Surah Al-Muddathir 47–53, Allah quotes the people of Hell:

“We were not of those who prayed, nor did we feed the poor.”

They admit their sins — ignoring salah, neglecting the needy, and falling deep into denial until death overtook them. Then Allah gives us a vivid simile:

“They flee from it like frightened donkeys fleeing a lion.”
