Viking Therapeutics | VKTX | Quick Take

Welcome to today's [Viking Therapeutics | VKTX | Quick Take] video where we will be discussing VKTX pharmaceuticals and its recent performance in the stock market. As many of you may know, VKTX had a huge pop in March, but has since had negative earnings and typical fluctuations that are common in the biotech industry.

Upon further analysis, we can see that there is not a significant difference between the company's outstanding shares and float, and there is a relatively high short float. This could potentially lead to a short squeeze, so it is important to keep an eye on the stock's weekly chart, which has been as high as 100 and as low as 50 in recent times.

As with any biotech company, there is a high-risk, high-reward potential. Although I am not currently recommending buying into VKTX, I highly suggest using our biotech due diligence Google sheet to further research the company's cash flow and do a quarter's worth of due diligence on the company's prospects.

Looking at the company's chart, we can see a recent spike in the value of weight loss medication, which may be contributing to the positive momentum of VKTX. However, I recommend protecting your profits if you are currently invested in VKTX, as there may be further news.
