A Word About Galatians 2:16
Right before I began the recording of this episode, I received a message from a friend—someone who thinks I’m lost because I’m Catholic. He sent me a video citing Galatians 2:16, probably hoping to “save” me. But that verse does matter—it’s central—and that’s why I address it here ever so briefly even though there was no plan to do so.

It turns out the manipulation of that verse is a microcosm of the illusion and inversion I had planned on addressing all along.

Galatians 2:16 is not an argument for cheap grace. It is not a license to abandon the Church Christ founded. It is a warning against illusions—against trusting any law, system, or external institution that doesn’t first begin and end in Christ. It was a direct communication to the Jews who thought they could live by the old law, or more specifically, the "works" of the old law. Not even the old covenant can save without Him. Remember, these were men and women still working through everything Christ had taught them in person, so there were still many that believed that, that did not yet see that Christ came to fulfill the "works" of the old law, and therefore "faith" in Him would now be replacing it.

St Paul was not separating works from faith in a vacuum, as it is taught by many today to discredit and destroy the Catholic Church.

This isn’t just theology. It’s life or death. Eternity is a long time. Hell is real.
And I’m speaking today because I don’t want anyone to go there—not my loved ones, not my students, not even my critics.

It’s a wake-up call.

Most importantly to myself.

If you think I’m wrong, pray for me. But please, also pray for truth—the kind that can only be found in Christ and his commands.

The question I leave with you...

What would you do if you found out today that your favorite celebrity wasn’t who you thought?

What if the shows you loved were signs of allegiance to a different kingdom—one that hates Christ?

Would you dismiss it? Would you pray? Would you fast?

Or would you change everything?

This is not conspiracy theory.

This is biblical reality.

And Satan is betting you won’t notice.
