B601 – Jul 13, 2025 Maturity Requires Testing

Most NT believers who have been involved with first-world, seeker-friendly congregations seem to think that testing and trials are just for those with weak faith. Everything will be just fine, if you trust God more and keep giving generously to the church.

In this Bible study, we look at the different types of testing that may occur in the life of believers and review the benefits of that testing, according to the Apostle Paul. Believers are not instructed to pray for their trials to end, but that they might receive the Holy Spirit of Yehovah and become conquerors in their spiritual battles.

Yehovah’s Word reminds believers that all testing allowed by Him, will be used for our benefit and to grow and mature us in Him. Patience, which is sorely lacking in the Body of Yeshua today, comes through the testing and trials of this life. Strong Faith, mature prayer habits, Godly Character, Hope and Peace through Yeshua, and the Wisdom of God, all grow and are made strong through difficult situations that are given to Yehovah.

Trust in Yehovah with all of your heart and do not trust in your own abilities. Cry out to Yeshua and accept His free gift of redemption for your life, and be filled with the Holy Spirit of Yehovah. Trust in the Plan that will never fail!
