The first Late Night show has fallen and it comes days after USAID was being defunded by $9 Billion; by pure coincidence, surely. The Late Show with Stephen Colbert will be wrapping up in May 2026 after years of political propagandizing and collapsing ratings. The entire genre has been in free fall for years and no one will shed a tear when Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, Seth Meyers and the rest are eventually dealt a similar hand.
