Part 14 - Proving Grounds

This game is a ton of fun to play. I HIGHLY recommend giving it a shot. There are a lot of lessons that transcend the game, from the dangers of isolationism to the damning effects of corruption of the extremely wealthy. If you are not looking for a deeper meaning, then i recommend just blowing crap up : )

BioShock is a retrofuturistic video game series that combines first-person shooter and role-playing elements, offering players a wide range of tools and challenges to approach combat and situations in various ways.
The series is known for exploring philosophical and moral concepts, particularly through its strong narrative and immersive sim gameplay.
The first game, BioShock (2007), is set in the underwater city of Rapture in the 1960s and is themed around the philosophy of Objectivism, inspired by Ayn Rand's work.

The game's narrative revolves around the character Jack, who is guided through Rapture by an unreliable narrator named Atlas, leading him to kill Andrew Ryan, the city's founder, under the command "would you kindly".
This highlights the theme of how easily individuals can be manipulated and the dangers of unchecked individualism.
Additionally, players must make moral choices regarding Little Sisters, which reflect on the consequences of one's actions.
