17 He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord,
And He will pay back what he has given.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY DEAR FRIENDS!!!
I truly find it interesting this morning that the passage of scripture I am reading from my devotions, coincides with my Bible study out of the Time Warp Wife, of Nehemiah chapter 5, and I'll tell you why. Both of these passages of scripture, deal with how we're supposed to treat the poor, but don't always do it and that's something that we as Christians really need to think about and work on. In particular with this morning scripture, God is giving clear instructions on how to take care of the poor, as well as dealing with debts, but Nehemiah 5 deals with a situation where the poor are being taken advantage of by the wealthy Jews, and he has to put a stop to it. I think that's why this question from this morning's devotional is so challenging my heart, and I had to share it with you tonight. Please read this question carefully and I pray that God speaks to your heart through it too.

How do you help those less fortunate?

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God showed me from both of these passages of scripture, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you challenges you in how you respond to and treat those who are less fortunate than you. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends and learn how to love Jesus most by loving others the best! 😊

So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that it not only gets you to thinking about this issue, but that it inspires you to want to do something to help those around you who are genuinely in need.

How does the life of Jesus and the things He taught inspire you to share with those in need?

I pray tonight that you will be willing to show complete kindness and compassion to those who are less fortunate than you, and that you do so without any begrudging nature, or negative attitude at all. Finally, and most importantly, if you know of somebody out there who's struggling financially, physically, emotionally, or into any way, don't be afraid to go to them and help them out. You don't need to have money, but you need a compassionate, willing, and obedient heart to do so. I've said this before, and I'll say it again, go over and have coffee with them, or bring food over for them, and be that listening ear to them. If they're looking for a job and can't find one, and if you have a job to offer them, offer it to them! Don’t withhold your compassion from them, but be willing to help them.

UNTIL FRIDAY:

HAVE A TRULY TRANQIL EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
