I’ve Been Run Off YouTube by Danny West.

Well, here I am — writing this blog because I’ve finally been run off YouTube by Danny West. Yes, Danny West, who has made it his mission to drag my name through the mud for well over a year now.
So, what do I know about Danny West?
For starters, he started branding me a “nonce” and a “predator” as early as March 2024. He’s taken great pleasure in dredging up my military background, publicly calling me a liar for saying I passed phase two training and served as a Royal Military Policeman — all while he’s parading around claiming he was a staff sergeant for 17 years.
He’s best pals with AJ Lashbrook, a convicted animal abuser and another loud-mouthed critic of mine. Birds of a feather, eh? Both love to call me a nonce — while simultaneously sending misogynistic messages to women like Kaley Einav. Danny once told Kaley she “needed a slap.” When I posted a video highlighting this vile message, Danny reacted like a cornered rat — he threatened me with police action for stalking and harassment if I didn’t take it down immediately.
I was genuinely concerned. So concerned, in fact, that I wrote to Sussex Police. Here’s a snippet of what I sent:
Dear Sussex Police,
Danny West claims he’s reported me for stalking and harassment. I categorically deny this. He’s been trolling me with vile accusations — calling me a nonce, predator, paedophile — all unprovoked. I’ve done nothing but defend myself. I’m more than willing to cooperate. I’ll come to the station, I’ll hand over my hard drive, but I do not want to be arrested or have my equipment seized yet again. I’ve been through this circus too many times already — all for allegations that go nowhere. Please be fair.
I signed it off with my solicitor’s details — so they’d know I’m serious.
Turns out Danny West was just playing games. He later admitted that he never reported me at all. It was “just banter,” apparently — banter designed to wind me up and keep me in fear.
But the trolling didn’t stop there. Danny West made himself a permanent fixture in my live chats. Every time I went live, there he was — spitting the same slurs at me and anyone who dared support me. He never once showed his real face or name, never once joined my panel for a real conversation. He even tried to bait me into a fight — a charity match, he said — but refused to reveal who he actually was.
Most recently, he left me this little gem:
"I only troll you Matt because I trigger the life out of you, as you confessed. 😂😂 Get a new job Matt, ya crap at this one, you stalker just saying."
It gets worse. To test him, I asked ChatGPT to generate an incident report to Sussex Police — purely fictional — which included a fake reporting officer called J Smith. That really got under Danny’s skin. He went silent for a while, but then reappeared weeks later, telling me to “check out Section 90 of the Police Act.”
He was implying that I’d impersonated a police officer — a serious crime — and hinted that he’d reported me for that, too.
It’s this constant threat — the fear of being arrested for something I didn’t do, by an overzealous police force that seems to have it in for me — that’s finally pushed me to pull the plug on my YouTube shows. I’m not prepared to risk being dragged out of my house again, my equipment seized, my life turned upside down — all because Danny West wants to “wind me up” for his own entertainment.
So, congratulations Danny West — you’ve won. You’ve driven me off YouTube. But don’t get too comfortable — you haven’t silenced me. I’ll keep writing, I’ll keep sharing my story, and I’ll keep standing up to cowards like you.
