MTG Speaks Out About the Genius Act Missing a CBDC Ban

In a January 23, 2025 Executive Order that was issued by President Trump, a measure was included to ban CBDC’s (Central Banking Digital Currency). Stablecoins are, in fact, programmable. The ban was somehow removed from the Executive Order and not included in the Senate bill that passed and moved to the House for a vote. Speaker Johnson is holding off on amendments, due to President Trump’s message about passing a ‘clean’ bill with no changes. Does he know that someone in the Senate has already removed in his long campaigned CBDC ban language from the bill?
